GRANT AND SUSAN HACKING JOIN ROCKET CENTRE

Rocket Centre are proud to announce the appointment of Susan Hacking (Dawson) and Grant Hacking to our Parts and Moto X departments.
Susan and Grant bring with them over 30 years of experience having run their family owned business Doug Hacking Motorcycles with their late father Doug Hacking.
We welcome Susan and Grant to the team and wish them every success.

NEIL HODGSON JUMPS THE ROCKET CENTRE APRILIA

The latest Rocket Centre track day was held at Cadwell Park on the 8th and 9th of June. Instructing on those days for Focused Events has friend of the company and World Superbike winner Neil Hodgson. Neil took our Aprilia SXV550 out for a couple laps to have a play over the mountain, 30 minutes and one and a half sessions later Neil came back in with a beaming smile. Dorsoduro Factory Wins Pb magazine Group Test

The Aprilia Dorsoduro Factory has comprehensively won the Performance Bikes group test for Naked Middle weights. MAX BIAGGI WINS WSBK FOR APRILIA ON THE RSV4

Aprilia are celebrating the World Championship victory for Max Biaggi after being crowned the 2010 FIM WSBK Champion at Imola. A great year for Biaggi but an even greater year for Aprilia, as this represents Aprilia’s first ever Riders Championship in the World Superbike Class adding to the many already achieved in 125’s and 250’s. The Italian team also celebrate their very first Manufacturer World Superbike championship in Aprilia history. The Aprilia team and RSV4 has well and truly lived up to the hype!

MYERSCOUGH COLLEGE REVIEW OF ELECTRIC RANGER

Sunday 6th June was the annual Myerscough College Open Day and Country Fair. Part of this fantastic day on the Bilsborrow based campus is the live arena demonstrating all means of country machinery such as Land Rovers, Quads, Buggies and even the odd rally car. Steve Slater the Mechanisation Short Course Training Coordinator for the college was given the new Polaris Ranger EV to use for his demos and general use.
